All game deals for Black Friday are on digital versions of Xbox games. So there won’t be any physical copies to snag here. But if that’s ok with you, then there is likely something for you in this sale. With over 700 games being discounted, how could there not be? You’ll find deals on first-party games from Xbox Game Studios, like Forza Horizon 4 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite are unfortunately not included). As well as third-party games like Far Cry 6 (down to $40.19 right now), Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy (down to $38.99) which we called a “White-Hot Star” in our review, and Resident Evil Village which is down to $29.99.
The Black Friday sale includes more than just Xbox game titles
If you thought this was just about games, think again. While Microsoft is discounting a metric ton of games, it’s also putting peripherals and other Xbox stuff on sale. For example, you can get up to 40% off on select gaming accessories. And Microsoft is even discounting some gaming PC desktops and laptops by up to $500. If you’re not looking to spend a bunch of money on a gaming PC, not to worry. Microsoft is discounting Xbox Game Pass to just $38 for the first three months. So you can try it out and stream games through the cloud. Now that its cloud gaming service is available on just about every device. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass for PC will be just $1 for the first three months. This doesn’t include cloud gaming, but it does give you access to a bunch of games at no extra cost if you have a PC to install them on. As a recommendation, we’d go for the accessories and the PC deals first. Since these are likely to be limited in stock. Digital games however will not be limited so everybody will get a chance to get the discounts as long as they do it before the sale is over.
