What’s more, is that the regional availability is extremely limited, at least initially. When pre-orders go live next Tuesday, access will be limited to the US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. In addition to the controller, Sony will also be putting replaceable stick modules up for pre-order on the same day. The controller will retail for $199.99 and the replaceable modules will retail for $19.99. The controller will come with its own specialized hard case with a zipper enclosure, as well as a braided USB-C cable for charging and updates. Also included are two standard caps two high dome caps, two low dome caps, two half dome back buttons, two lever back buttons, and a connector housing.
DualSense Edge pre-orders aren’t exclusive to PlayStation Direct
If you want to be one of the first to get your hands on this controller, you’ll need to be steadfast as supply could be limited. Sony says the controller and the replaceable stick modules will be available for pre-order while supplies last. And while the DualSense Edge is hardly to be as sought after as the PS5 console itself, it wouldn’t be unheard of. For month’s SCUF’s Reflex PS5 controllers were impossible to get. The same thing could happen here. The controller will also be available from select retailers globally later next year. When the controller goes live on January 26, it’ll be exclusive to PlayStation Direct. But consumers can pick it up outside of PlayStation Direct starting on February 23.
