Xfinity customers get rewards perks like Supersonic WiFi
Fancy faster WiFi at home? Well, if you already subscribe to Xfinity then you might be in luck. One of the Xfinity Rewards perks is early access to Supersonic WiFi. Which utilizes Xfinity’s fastest ever gateway (powered by WiFi 6E) that can support multi-gig speeds and up to hundreds of devices being connected simultaneously. Here’s the catch. You need to be subscribed to a Gigabit internet plan and be an Xfinity Rewards Diamond member. If you do that, then starting from today (March 4) you can get access to the new WiFi 6E gateway that should have you blazing the internet at breakneck speeds in no time. How do you get to be a Diamond member? Well, that’s the kind of the other catch. The only way to be a Diamond member is to have been an Xfinity customer for 14+ years. But don’t fret. Even if you don’t meet this requirement, you can still get your hands on this new gateway. As it will only be exclusive to Diamond members until April. There are four tiers of rewards members in total. In addition to Diamond, there’s Silver if you’ve been a customer for 0-2 years, Gold for 2-7 years, and then Platinum for 7-14 years.
Cheap movie rentals for $1, plus see Sing 2 in theaters at a discount
Movie buffs will love this perk. Xfinity is dropping the price for a wide array of movie rentals to just $1 if you’re a rewards member. Additionally, you can see Sing 2 in theaters for less. Although, Comcast doesn’t actually mention how much less. If you’re looking for something free, then there’s a handful of movies you can claim for free too. Including The Mighty Ducks and The Minions Movie. You can also get discounted tickets to Universal Orlando. Overall, not a bad list of perks just for being a customer. You do need to sign up (for free) through the Xfinity Rewards app. But if you already have Xfinity services, you might as well do so.
