FIFA+ is now available on Google TV & Android TV devices
Thanks to a deal with VIDAA OS, a Hisense product, Google is able to offer FIFA+ to Google and Android TV devices. Just to clear things up, VIDAA holds access to “premium sports content”. That includes the official app of the World Cup, FIFA+. VIDAA is a Hisense subsidiary, and Hisense is a huge sponsor of the World Cup 2022. That being said, FIFA+ was only available through VIDAA, but you can now use it on Google TV and Android TV devices without a problem. Google agreed on a deal with Hisense to make this happen. FIFA+, as some of you may know, is one of the best spots to get live coverage and recordings of the World Cup 2022 games. Now, this deal Google signed is not exactly all that surprising. Google has been sponsoring the US coverage of the World Cup.
Google also released a Pixel 7 series World Cup 2022 ad, and more
The company released a Pixel 7 series ad for the World Cup, and is also offering various ways you can keep track of what’s going on in Qatar during the World Cup 2022. Following this deal with Hisense, Google said the following: “Our priority is to bring our users the content they love. Through this collaboration, we’re able to help World Cup fans around the world celebrate and tune in wherever they are through exclusive and engaging content across Android TV OS devices”. So, if you own a Google TV or Android TV device, you should be able to install this app. It should work on basically every device with such software. And you probably should install it, if you’re interested in World Cup 2022. Speaking of the World Cup, we’re down to the round of 16 at the moment. Things are really starting to heat up.
