The Pixel 6a is coming to 13 countries starting in July
So, what are the countries the phone will land in? The Pixel 6a is coming to the US, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and India. Do note that it will arrive to India later in 2022. These are great news for both consumers, and the Pixel A series. The Pixel A series devices are arguably the best smartphones for the vast majority of people. They’re usually quite reliable, last a long time, get fast updates, and are also quite affordable.
On top of all that, you’re getting a really good camera experience, and a great phone all around. It remains to be seen if that will be the case with the Pixel 6a, but if it’s anything like its predecessors, it will be.
It will cost $449 in the US, €459 in Europe
The Google Pixel 6a is priced at $449, the company has announced during Google I/O yesterday. That price tag will translate to €459 in Europe, well, in Germany, at least. Many would agree that it’s a great price tag considering what the phone offers. The Pixel 6a got a new design, compared to the Pixel 5a. It now looks like the Pixel 6, but it’s a bit smaller. It also got the Google Tensor SoC, which fuels both of the company’s current-gen flagships. Google decided to include LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage inside this phone, which is nice to see. Unfortunately, it still features a 60Hz display, and Gorilla Glass 3, but Google had to cut costs somewhere. Android 12 comes pre-installed on the device, while you’ll find three well-known cameras on the device, two of which are placed on the back. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also included here.
