The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 to include an 8-inch LTPO display

Its predecessor was called the Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold. Xiaomi decided to ditch the ‘Mi’ branding last year, and its new devices will not feature it. The name sure is clearer this way, and it makes more sense. The ‘Mi’ branding was symbolizing ‘Xiaomi’ either way, so… it’s redundant.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold launched in March last year, so if Xiaomi aims to stick to that release cycle, its successor is coming in a couple of months. The Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold didn’t launch outside of China, though, and we’re hoping that won’t be the case with its successor. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will hopefully arrive to other markets, to global markets, that is. In addition to what the tipster mentioned, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will also ship with Android 12, and Xiaomi’s MIUI skin. It will offer a large battery, along with fast charging, and plenty of RAM and storage.
