Samsung is leading the foldable phone game by a long shot. The only other company that can compete is Huawei, and that company is going through a lot right now. Other companies have also jumped into the market like Oppo, Vivo, Motorola, and Xiaomi, but they haven’t been able to usurp the Korean giant. Now, we’re just weeks away from Samsung’s next Unpacked event where the company is going to unpack the next generation of foldable phones. We might also get some new Galaxy Buds during the event.
We got some leaked press renders of the galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4
Over the past couple of months, we’ve seen several leaks and renders of the upcoming duo, but this is our best look at the phones so far. Thanks to Evan Blass (via Sam Mobile), we have some high-quality press renders of the phones, and they leave nothing to the imagination. Starting off with the renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. We can see that the phone has an almost identical look to last year’s model. We see the same slender profile when the phone is closed and the same near-square shape when it’s opened. One notable difference between the two generations has to do with the hinge. The hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is more shallow than on the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It’s not a huge difference, so we’ll have to see if this leads to any difference to the overall feel. The press renders show the phone in three different colors. We see a cream color, a black color, and a gray color. We’ll have to wait until the announcement for the official names. We can expect Samsung to give these colors some weird interesting names.
Now, for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. These renders also show the phone from every possible angle, and they give us an amazing look at the phone. Much like the Z Fold 4, the Z Flip 4 will also look very similar to its predecessor. The renders also show us four colors: cream, light blue, purple, and black.
