Huawei used truly premium materials for this watch, while it also comes with some interface improvements, a new range of watch faces, and more. The watch has two buttons on the right side, and the top one doubles as a rotating crown.
You’ll find a perfectly-placed rotating crown on these watches
The company got used to including that rotating crown on its watches, and that’s a good thing. It’s a great way to navigate your watch, and it’s also in a perfect spot. You won’t press that button by accident, nor will you rotate it by accident either. This smartwatch is packed with features, and it’s both fitness and health-oriented. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro offers an ECG analysis feature, and also TruSeen 5.0+ data monitoring technology. That tech allows for accurate health measurements, including blood oxygen monitoring.
There are over 100 workout modes that you can choose from here, and also a smart running plan. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro has a Dual-Band Five-System GNSS positioning, to provide you with an extremely accurate geographic location.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro comes in Titanium & Ceramic models
Now, we’ve mentioned that two different models of this watch launched. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic Edition and Titanium Edition are their official names. They are a bit different, as the Ceramic Edition is smaller, and it’s more oriented toward women. Let’s talk about the Titanium Model first, shall we.
The Titanium model is larger, and slightly heavier
This smartwatch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 466 x 466. It is encased in titanium, which makes it lighter than watches of a similar size, and also quite durable. Its display is also really well-protected thanks to sapphire glass. On the back of this watch, you’ll find ceramic, not glass, which makes it even more durable overall. Huawei says that the ceramic back goes through over 60 processes to take it from zirconia ceramic powder to the finished product. The company also managed to reduce the thickness of the watch by 0.5mm compared to the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro, which is quite an achievement. The case size of this watch is 46.6mm, and the watch weighs 56 grams without the strap. The battery on this watch will last you somewhere between 8 to 14 days, depending on your usage. That is far better than you’ll get from the Apple Watch, or most other popular alternatives. Titanium Edition:
The Ceramic model is smaller, but it doesn’t cut back on features
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic Edition does offer a somewhat different design. It still has the same buttons, including the rotating crown, and those are located in the same spot. The watch is overall smaller, though. This watch’s display is also protected by sapphire, and it comes with a ceramic back. This watch’s display measures 1.32 inches, and it’s an AMOLED display with the same resolution as the Titanium variant. The case size of this watch is 42.9mm, and the watch weighs 50 grams without the strap. The battery on this watch will last between 4 and 7 days, depending on your usage. Ceramic Edition:
These watches are compatible with both Android & iOS
Now, both of these watches are IP68 certified, and also offer a 5 ATM rating for diving. HarmonyOS 2 comes pre-installed on both of them, and they’re compatible with both Android (6.0+) and iOS (9.0+). Both watches support wireless charging, and come with charging cradles. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Titanium measures 46.6 x 46.6 x 10.9mm, while the Ceramic model measures 42.9 x 42.9 x 10.5mm. The Titanium model comes in two variants, with Black Fluoroelastomer Strap and Gray Leather Strap. The Ceramic model is also available in two strap models, one is the White Ceramic Strap, and the other is a White Leather Strap. Their availability will be announced soon, and we’ll update this article as soon as it does.
