The add-on will go live on all Hulu + Live TV accounts on Friday, September 24, and last through Sunday, September 26. Unfortunately, Hulu is not offering it for a long weekend like YouTube TV is doing for Cinemax and HBO MAX – offering it from Thursday through Monday. But this is still a great way to check out the Sports Add-On from Hulu which would normally cost you $10 per month.

What’s available on the Hulu + Live TV Sports Add-On?

The Sports Add-On includes MAVTV, NFL RedZone, Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, TVG, and TVG2. So it’s not full of a ton of channels, but it does have some good ones to check out. Especially NFL RedZone since the NFL season is already underway, and we are heading into week 3 this weekend. This add-on is also the cheapest way to get NFL RedZone right now, as the Sports Add-Ons for the competing streaming TV services offer it in a package for $10.99 per month. So with Hulu, it’s a buck cheaper. That’s not much, but it is something. Hulu + Live TV already offers a ton of sports channels without this add-on. This add-on joins  ESPN, FS1, NBCSN, Big Ten Network, ACC Network, CBS Sports Network, SEC Network, Golf Channel, and ESPNews. If you’re not a Hulu + Live TV subscriber already, you can start a free 7-day trial today. And Hulu is also offering a bonus of $10 off your first three months when you do so. Of course, this is only good for those that are new subscribers to the Live TV portion of Hulu. If you subscribed to regular Hulu already, then you can still take advantage of this. Hulu + Live TV normally costs $65 per month, before this sports add-on is added.
