Twitter Files is one of the hottest debate topics in politics and tech these days. For those unfamiliar with the case, Twitter Files consist of the company’s policies over various controversial decisions. These include banning Donald Trump from the platform and Hunter Biden’s laptop. While Twitter was already accused of acting in favor of the Democratic Party, Jack Dorsey says there was no “ill intent or hidden agendas” involved, and all employees acted according to the best information in hand. “As for the files, I wish they were released Wikileaks-style, with many more eyes and interpretations to consider. There’s nothing to hide…only a lot to learn from.” Dorsey continued.

Jack Dorsey responds to the Twitter Files allegations

Dorsey is now condemning any attack on former Twitter executives and employees involved in making controversial decisions. Dorsey called the attacks “dangerous” and said they wouldn’t solve anything. “If you want to blame, direct it at me and my actions, or lack thereof.” he wrote. Twitter Files details have yet to be made available to the public, but Elon Musk might release them in the future. The files have now made former Twitter employees the target of public criticism and anger. According to CNN, Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former Trust & Safety head, had to flee his own home due to the violent threats. Vijaya Gadde. has also come under fire for banning Trump’s account. Gadde had a key role in forming Twitter’s policies as general counsel. Dorsey also said he wants to give cash to the companies and engineers who are working on social media and private communication protocols, bitcoin, and a web-only mobile OS. The project starts with giving $1 million a year to the privacy-focused messaging app Signal. He is also inviting people to introduce him to other candidates.
