Earlier in the year, we got the Moto Edge+ smartphone which uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and we’re following the rumors for the Moto Razr 3. This means that the company is still interested in the premium smartphone market.
The charging speed for the Moto Edge 30 Ultra has been revealed
We’re also tailing the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. This is set to be the next main entry into the Edge series of Motorola phones introduced back in 2020. This phone’s specs were revealed not too long ago, and they show us a pretty powerful device. Now, we’re getting more information on this phone as it nears its official launch. Thanks to 91Mobiles, we know just how fast this phone will charge. A 3C post, spotted by 91Mobiles, reveals that the phone will come with 125W fast charging. In other words: it’s really fast. It’s nearly four times as fast as the 33W charging on the Moto Edge+. That’s a major leap in charging speed, and it will charge the (rumored) 4,500mAh battery in a short amount of time. There are other things to take into consideration like heat management and when the phone will slow down the charging. Regardless, you can expect some really fast charging from this phone when it eventually launches.
What other specs can we expect?
The Moto Edge 30 Ultra is going to be a true-to-form flagship phone, so we’re looking at some powerful specs here. For starters, this phone is expected to come with a 6.73-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that can run at 144Hz. As for the processor, it’s going to use the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This will be backed up by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. When it comes to the camera, this phone will be special, as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra is expected to come with a 200MP camera as the main shooter. This is expected to be accompanied by a 50MP camera and a 12MP camera, but we don’t know what they are just yet. Up front, we’re expecting a 60MP selfie camera. It’s no doubt that this phone will launch with Android 12 out of the box. We’re not sure when this phone is going to launch, but it shouldn’t be too long.
