There are new customization options in the Vivaldi browser
Vivaldi just dropped the new version 5.1 update and it brings several new and useful features. According to the report, these changes bring some new aesthetic and functional improvements to the software. To start off, there are better customization options for the browser’s theme. Previously, there were only light and dark themes that you could use. Now, with the update, you can change the theme’s color to whatever you want. The only downside to this is that you have to manually enter the color code for custom colors. Most people don’t know the codes, so you might have to look them up.
When it comes to the tabs, you have more options for the tab sizes. The minimum tab size was reduced in the previous version, but now, people can choose it. The smallest that a tab can be is 90 pixels and the biggest is 180 pixels. They can move up and down in increments of 15 pixels.
There are also improvements to speed
A big part of the browser experience is the speed. As per the company’s claim, Vivaldi got some major improvements to the overall speed. The company didn’t elaborate on exactly how much faster, but it did mention that the browser will be doing more work under the hood. Using the browser with a lot of tabs open can really bog down the browser. The company promises that you’ll be able to use more tabs at the same time without slowing down the system.
