Xiaomi is planning to announce new high-end phones this month, it seems
The Xiaomi 12T is allegedly coming in two variants. Both will include 8GB of RAM, but the difference will be in storage. You’ll be able to choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. The Xiaomi 12T Pro, on the other hand, will be available in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. Both of those variants will include the same amount of storage, 256GB. Both of these smartphones will be offered in three color options, Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue, if the report is to be believed. What else can we expect out of the Xiaomi 12T? Well, a previous rumor suggested that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will basically look the same as the Redmi K50 Ultra, but that it will feature some upgrades.
The ‘Pro’ variant may include a 200-megapixel main camera
It may ship with a 200-megapixel camera from Samsung (ISOCELL HP1 sensor), unlike the Redmi K50 Ultra. An 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro camera were also mentioned. The regular Xiaomi 12T is said to include a 108-megapixel main camera, not a 200-megapixel one. The other two sensors will likely remain the same, though. A 5,000mAh battery was also mentioned, for both devices. The ‘Pro’ variant is tipped to include 120W fast wired charging, while the regular model will support 67W wired charging. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will be included in the ‘Pro’ variant, while the Xiaomi 12T may include a different SoC. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra was mentioned.
