Sackboy: A Bid Adventure carries many of the same platforming elements as the franchise’s three mainline games. It also features multiplayer support, and a multitude of puzzles, all wrapped up into a fun and frantic experience. Sackboy: A Big Adventure would have some big shoes to fill for PC players. Since it follows PlayStation heavyweights like Days Gone, God Of War, and Horizon Zero Dawn. But even in contrast with those AAA blockbusters, PC players would be in for a real treat here.
PS5-exclusive Sackboy: A Big Adventure was first hinted at for Steam last year
As Video Games Chronicle points out, this isn’t the first time the game was suspected to be landing on Steam. Last year, it was referenced in line with the term ‘Marmelade’ which was a codename for the title in the massive 2021 NVIDIA GeForce NOW leak. But now it seems the same SteamDB listing has a thumbnail that accompanies it. A picture of Sackboy from the game’s PS5 cover art. This seems to all but confirm that PC players will eventually get their chance to play this game. Though, when exactly is still uncertain. That being said, the SteamDB listing also added language support today. Which may suggest that Sony is getting ready to announce the game’s PC availability as language support tends to be one of the last things added before a game release. Sackboy: A Big Adventure would be Sony’s 7th PC release, following the above three in addition to Helldivers, Predator Hunting Grounds, and most recently, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered. Sony has also confirmed Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection coming to PC in 2022, and The Last Of Us Part 1 coming to PC “soon.”
