Samsung doesn’t seem to be highlighting a specific upcoming product here, but just what its devices have to offer, and Google apps as well. On the flip side, it does serve as a stepping stone towards Android 12L. We’ve talked about Android 12L quite recently. This is the upcoming update for Android that will make things easier for foldable smartphones. Google is taking foldables more seriously now, and there are several reasons why. We’ve seen quite a few foldable devices being introduced thus far, while Google is planning to announce its own as well. Therefore, it needs a platform that will offer a great experience for foldables. In comes Android 12L.
Android 12 is coming, and foldables will benefit greatly from it

Samsung’s new foldables, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3, which launched in August, are actually quite popular. Samsung was left surprised by the demand, it seems, which is a great sign for them and foldable devices. Google is expected to announce its very first foldable smartphone in the near future. We’re not sure when will it happen, but it’s possible it will arrive in the first half of next year. That device was rumored to arrive by the end of this year, but that seems less and less likely.
