The Vivo X90 & X90 Pro+ appear in all color options
These two phones will have the same design language, but the Vivo X90 Pro+ will have a larger camera island on the back. The colors on offer will also be different, and the materials on the back of some of them. Let’s start with the flagship phone, the Vivo X90 Pro+. This handset is coming in black and red variants, as you can see below. Both of these models will come with a vegan leather backplate. The device will have a large, circular camera island on the back, hosting that 1-inch Sony sensor, amongst other cameras. Its display will be curved, a centered display camera hole will be present, and the bezels will be minimal. The Vivo X90, on the other hand, will look very similar to the flagship model, but with a smaller camera island. It could actually be smaller overall, we’re not sure just yet. As you can see in the gallery above, only one out of three color options will have a vegan leather back, the red one. The black and ice blue models will feature glass on the back.
ZEISS optics will be a part of the package as well
ZEISS optics will be present on both smartphones, and both devices will ship with Android 13 out of the box, and Vivo’s Funtouch OS on top of it. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will fuel the flagship model, while the Vivo X90 could include the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. The Vivo X90 is said to offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Vivo X90 Pro+, on the other hand, will offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Vivo may utilize LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage on the inside, at least in the flagship model. The Vivo X90 Pro is also expected to arrive, in addition to these two models. It’s expected to be somewhere between the two spec-wise. The Vivo X90 series is launching in China on November 22, but it will arrive to more markets later on. UPDATE: The Vivo X90 real-life images also surfaced, showing all color options.
