February update for Samsung Galaxy smartphones fixes dozens of vulnerabilities
Samsung earlier this month published its updated security bulletin for February 2022. The new patch contains fixes for more the 60 vulnerabilities, including patches from Google. The company has labeled a bunch of them as critical issues. So it’s better to install the new SMR as early as you can. You probably already know the drill as far as installing the new software package is concerned. Your phone will notify you of the OTA update once it becomes available. Alternatively, you can open the Settings app and navigate to the Software update > Download and install menu to manually check for it. If there’s no OTA update available, check back again later.
